DAY 1: USA – OSAKA, JAPAN |
Depart USA for Osaka. Enjoy excellent in-flight service.
Welcome to Osaka. Meet with tour guide and transfer to Airport Hotel.

DAY 3: OSAKA AIRPORT-OSAKA CASTLE-NARA-KYOTO-NAGAHAMA

Today we will start to transfer to Osaka City and visit Osaka Castle, grand and majestic and also an important cultural asset. Enjoy a leisurely stroll within its compound for photo taking from all angles. Next Nara to visit the Todaiji Temple, which houses the world's largest wooden Buddha statue. The delightful Deer Park within the temple is an adventure in itself, with deer roaming freely in a holy sanctuary. Their presence is an ever-amusing treat. Thereafter, we shall proceed to Kinkakuji-Golden Pavillion,recipient of the World Cultual Heritage designation: just a glimpse of the Pavillion from any angle is an eye-opening feast.

DAY 4: NAGAHAMA-SHIRAKAWAGO-TAKAYAMA

In the morning, we shall stop at Biwako. Proceed to visit World Heritage Shirakawago. Leap into an old, fairy tale-like world and experience the picturesque harmony between the village and nature! Hidden away deep in the mountains is this quaint settlement in Shirakawa Village that is famous for its gassho-zukuri houses whose grand roofs resemble hands clasped in prayer. Many of these houses are still inhabited to this day, and together with their adjacent rice paddies, they paint an incredibly picturesque landscape that is a joy to behold and to take a stroll through. Then procced to Takayama old town.

DAY 5: TAKAYAMA-MATSUMOTO-LAKE KAWAGUCHIKO

After breakfast, we shall visit Takayama Morning Market, Kamisannomachi Folk Street and Yatai Kaikan Hall that is a huge exhibition space located within the premises of the Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine. The hall is wholly dedicated towards housing the Takayama Festival floats, which steal the show during the festival. These four ornate floats are adorned with beautiful carvings, awe-inspiring designs, richly decorated lanterns and other enhancements, which make these 23 foot structures a marvel to watch. These 17th Century floats assume great importance during the festival when they go out on the roads with their dazzling lights. The exhibition space is specially maintained for those tourists who miss the festival and wish to have a glance of these awe-striking floats. We shall embark Matsumoto Castle which is one of the most complete and beautiful among Japan's original castles, i.e. the castles whose keeps have survived the post-feudal ages intact. Proceed to Lake Kawaguchiko. We will view Mr. Fuji(subject to weather conditions.).

DAY 6: LAKE KAWAGUCHIKO-FUJI-TOKYO SIGHTSEEING (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER) |
After breakfast, we shall proceed to Oshino Hakkai which is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago.Then we will proceed to Tokyo Metropolitan Observatory that has become the face of the West Side of Shinjuku Station. You can see all of Tokyo from the popular 202-meter high observation decks, located on the 45th floor of Main Building No. 1. Next the Imperial Palace, the official residence of the Japanese Imperial Family.
Next up will be Tokyo Tower and Asakusa Sensoji Temple. It is one of Tokyo's most colorful and popular temples. A variety of traditional and distinctive souvenirs are available.
